Our Programs
Our Mission and Vision
Our Mission is to work with young men and women between the ages of 16-35 to help them develop the skill of Carpentry. We believe other soft skills can be taught through this field as well. The shortage of carpenters throughout the job market has increased yet the demand for skilled, job ready, men and women has soared.
We envision preparing as many young men and women as we can, to become skilled in the field of carpentry, also to develop other work ready skills to be successful and productive in whatever field they finally settle into.

News
Despite limited employment growth, about 89,300 openings for carpenters are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Most of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required to enter the occupation. Certain high school courses, such as mathematics and mechanical drawing, may be useful. Some vocational-technical schools offer associate’s degrees in carpentry. The program we offer is 16 weeks and teach basics and specialties in carpentry.
Carpenters fasten materials with nails, screws, staples, and adhesives and check their work to ensure that it is correct. They use tape measures or laser measures on nearly every project to quickly determine distances. Many employers require carpenters to supply their own tools on the job.
